1) Size matters: 190 homes help provide great volunteers plus provides an important voice on what to do and what to avoid. Homeowners are expected to pick their favorite area and help.
2) We don't use a management company. Our association is managed by the people who live here. The equals less overhead with more self interested care.
3) Rentals are legally prohibited. Again, everyone has more of an interest in maintaining an attractive friendly environment.
4) We live in Bloomington. Advantages include lower crime rates, rapid emergency response, even better water (no water softeners needed here!).
5) Responsible pet ownership is permitted. Bloomington ordinances apply.
